El tribunal belga de primera instancia que debe decidir sobre ha decidido aplazar la vista al próximo 16 de diciembre por la tarde para dar más tiempo a las partes para preparar sus alegaciones.
Esto es lo que lo han explicado a los medios de comunicación el propio líder independentista y su equipo de abogados.
"La vista ha durado muy poco porque finalmente el tribunal ha aceptado nuestra petición de aplazar la vista hasta el 16 de diciembre", ha explicado el político independentista.
Puigdemont no respondió a las consultas de los medios de comunicación, indican los reportes internacionales.
En diciembre entonces, el tribunal belga decidirá si entrega a España al acusado por los delitos de sedición y malversación o bien acepta la alegación de la defensa del político catalán.
Del lado de Puigdemont sostienen que su defendido goza de inmunidad al haber sido elegido eurodiputado en las elecciones del pasado 26 de mayo.
